Lesson\/Unit Summary: <\/strong><\/span>Students are introduced to country adjectives through watching a video about what people eat in different countries for breakfast and for lunch, and the kinds of food offered in McDonald’s in different parts of the world. The incorporation of video viewing can increase students\u2019 learning motivation. The lesson design also takes into consideration learners\u2019 different English abilities. Different game instructions and materials have been prepared to cater to learner diversity in the design of a memory game. The unit ends with a writing task, which requires students to design a tourist brochure about their favourite country. Students are asked to collect authentic tourist brochures for reference and they are guided to discover the language features of brochures beforehand.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
