The teaching materials, which include maps of places with authentic shop names, are related to students\u2019 daily lives. To make the lessons more interesting to students, different resources such as PowerPoint slides, songs and soft toys are used. The various teaching aids can cater for students\u2019 different learning styles. Various activities have also been devised. An information gap activity has been included in Lesson 3 to encourage interaction between students and to consolidate students\u2019 learning.
