Lesson\/Unit Summary: <\/strong>The idea of language across the curriculum is adopted in the lesson plan. The topic \u2018Water Cycle\u2019 in Integrated Science is chosen. One rationale is that the present tense is typically used in the description of the natural phenomenon. In this English lesson, a song about the water cycle is employed as a multi-sensory comprehensible input. Another feature of the lesson is that students are not told the use of the present tense directly by the teacher; instead, they have to deduce the use and the structure themselves with scaffolding questions raised by the teacher.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
