Lesson\/Unit Summary: <\/strong>The lessons aim at teaching senior primary students to use the present perfect to talk about past experiences that have current relevance. The grammar item is taught in context, with the Hawaii travelling experience of the popular cartoon character, Stitch, and his friend, Angel, as the background. Through their radio interviews, students are guided to notice how to use the present perfect to ask for and to talk about past experience. A bingo game and a board game are designed to increase learner interest and to assess their learning. Opportunities are also provided for students to collaborate and to create responses relating to their own travel experiences in the final interview activity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
