Students read a research report on the dating habits of secondary school students, and have to work out the interview questions from the research findings. Students are then required to conduct a research study on a topic of their own choice. It is suggested that teachers adopt the idea of language across the curriculum, and link the English language with other disciplines such as social studies, health education and moral education when guiding students to conduct their investigations.

Level of Students: Junior Secondary

Lesson Duration: 60 mins

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to

1.
