Lesson\/Unit Summary: <\/strong> Through this lesson, students will be able to use the simple present tense with correct subject-verb agreement to talk about habitual actions and hobbies, and to describe their families. The lesson is divided into three phases: grammar input, while-writing task and post-task. Different teaching strategies are adopted. Authentic teaching materials and family trees are used to evoke students\u2019 interest; self-discovery activities, the four square writing method, peer evaluation and cooperative learning are applied in the design of the lessons. Through the various language activities, students will be able to develop their four language skills as well as their generic skills, such as collaboration and communication skills (pair work) and critical thinking skills (peer evaluation).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
