Prepositions

Lesson/Unit Summary:  Students take the role of detectives and use prepositions of location to provide clues to help solve suspected crimes.

Level of Students: Senior Primary 

Lesson Duration: 65 minutes

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this unit, students should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the meaning and the use of prepositions of location (e.g. in, on, next to, between, etc.) for describing the location of different objects/people.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the meaning of the vocabulary related to crimes (e.g. murder, detective, blood, gun, knife, etc.).
  3. Use prepositions of location to describe the location of objects.
